Staring: Steve Martin, Goldie Hawn, John Cleese
Director: Sam Weisman
Rated: PG-13
Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn star in this remake of Neil Simon's 1970 comedy,
"The Out of Towner". Martin and Hawn play Henry and Nancy Clark, a couple who's
marrage has lost it's spark after their kids move out. The Clarks take a trip to
New York City where Martin has a job interview, but Hawn is unaware that here husband
has lost his other job and this is the only interview he could get. Through ot the movie
the couple goes through much miss fortune, including being being mugged, going to jail,
and being caught making love in the central park by the mayor.
The Out of Towners is funny, but not the funniest thing I have seen. It has some momments
which are very funny but others which don't get much more then a smirk. It does has a good
story which will keep your attention.
